Why I want to be a tourist guide ?

I am currently living in Dhapasi, Kathmandu. I born and grow up in Tillotama-13, which is located about between the birthplace of lord Gautam Buddha and his mamaghar Ramgram in Devdaha.

I am graduated on MA in Sociology from TU and completed a year course on international development studies from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. I have wide experience on human rights, social justice and development. I spent about 15 years working with different I/NGOs in Nepal and 10 years in abroad Sudan as Child protection specialist.

Currently I am associated with RUNVAN (return united nations volunteer association nepal). Main reason to having this training on Tour Guide Course is to look for the further opportunity in hospitality business in Nepal. I have seen lots of potentiality extending hospitality business in my birthplace Rupandehi, which is also known having historical place Jitgadhi the place where nepali fought with british and defeated them.

Rupandehi also known as a place to have civilization of human being ad they found teeth of Ramapithecus near the Tinau river in Butwal. Rupandehi kept indigenous people call tharu and they practice hindu religion in different way with fun of different kind of dance called dandia, mayur etc. They have their traditional food and dance kept preserved through the tharu homestay in Semari located in the way to mamaghar of lord gsutam buddha and the place i grow up.
