After roaming around and spenting time in Civil Mall we went to see Dharahara. Then we went to see Rani Pokhari. Then we went to have lunch. After lunch we were very tired so we went to our room.

It was the activities what we did that day I would like to share some information and importance of those places where we went.

Basantapur Durbar Square which is the Nautale, a nine-storied building. It has four roofs and stands at the end of Nasal Chok at the East side of the palace. It is said that this building was set as a pleasure house. Basantapur Durbar Square is also known as Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Indra Chowk is one of the ceremonial and market squares on the artery passing through the historic section of Kathmandu. Its temples and bazaar draw streams of pilgrims and shoppers. The square is named after Indra, lord of heaven in Hindu mythology.

Rani Pokhari lies just outside a former city gate. The pond is one of Kathmandu’s most famous landmarks and is known for its religious and aesthetic significance.
