FAR AND NEAR IN THE FLOWING TIME
Dahlia TERA
Distances and years …
Are they insurmountable obstacles, invisible fences?
High impassable walls…
Deep impassable ditches…
‘Where there is a will, there is a way’.
The proverb says,
Regardless of difficulties, you may face.
Is it just rhetoric? May you fly to pass?
Our desire and determination are really the keys?
Yes…. will is not enough probably;
Thin and delicate but unbreakable threads are stronger,
Mysteriously stretched by the souls,
In whole-hearted respect, mutual understanding,
Unexplained symbiosis,
Secret and silent togetherness.
Then walls and ditches no longer exist:
They have crumbled, the ones
They have been filled, the others
With smiles, words, flowers, feelings,
With sorrow and joy, memories and hopes,
As out of the time…
Never impassable walls even high like Everest,
Never impassable ditches even deep like Ocean.
Thousands of puzzle pieces, of splinters of life…
Like the rungs of a ladder
Inside your tender motherly heart,
To reach the light of the stars in the sky;
Not just dreaming…. being happy…
Don’t give up!
Distances and years
Are not insuperable obstacles;
They are tests of life
That turns a caterpillar into a butterfly,
That makes a beautiful flower bloom from seed,
When will and feelings
Mind, heart, and soul
Complement each other
On the way of HAPPINESS.
