It is not so bad, perhaps, to remember, these days, the definition of the ‘TYRANT’ given by the famous philosopher-thinker-writer VOLTAIRE. He was a brilliant exponent of ‘The Age of Enlightenment’, a European intellectual movement, the 17th and 18th Centuries. The words defining the ‘despot’, the ‘tyrant’, in his ‘Philosophical Dictionary’ are the following:

‘That sovereign is called a ‘tyrant’ who knows no other laws than his own whim of him, who steals the belongings of his own subjects and then enlists them to go to steal those of his neighbors.’

Then, History repeats itself without teaching ??!!
