‘Where word fails, music speaks.’

Folk wisdom of proverbs but not only….
Whether they are whispered or screamed,
I love the language of musical notes .
They enclose and express,
By releasing them like a perfume,
All the nuances of feelings, situations,
Life events and nature….
Hell and heaven in the soul .

They support the movements of my body,
They suggest the swaying of my heart.
They stimulate the searches of my mind.

Music tells me of sweetness and disappointment,
Of tenderness and anger,
Of carelessness and violence,
Of joy, excitement, happiness,
Of disgust, fear, contempt,
Of hope serenity, surprise….
In memories of the past,
In moments of the present,
Countless emotions…

Melody is a health-giving hug,
A comforting caress on my face,
A kiss on my forehead,
Sometimes an aggressive blow too,
Sometimes a powerful awakening…

And music describes not just for my ears
But paints for my eyes:
The water of the falling waterfall
The drops of rain on the ground,
The whisper of the ears of wheat in the wind,
The songs in the green rice fields,
The cheerful dances in the sun.

And… weddings, cremations, religious ceremonies,
Military parades, Festivals, parties,
Simply back ground from radio at home, humming it.
Meditative and meaningful
Om Mani Padme Hum by the monks

And silent music…
Of the clouds running in the sky,
Of the stars in the darkness of the night;
Listen! It tells me about mysterious countries and dreams ….

Because silent, instrumental or vocal
Music is life itself..tears and smiles.
Its rhythm, harmonious or jerky,
Is the way into the secret place of the soul.

I love music
Because it is a piece of art
That goes in the ears straight to my heart….
