HE SAID, ‘ACCEPTANCE IS THE KEY’
By Dahlia Tera
She died.
The view of her pale body
Was cruel….
But he said: ‘Acceptance’
he felt weak and small,
She sat in silence,
The eyes were fixed on the ground,
She let her mind and heart
Be filled with the contents of this word…
Was she nothing really on this earth?
NO, she answered to herself!
She was understanding:
Acceptance did not mean
Abandonment, renunciation, submission,
Neither compliance nor resignation,
ACCEPTANCE WAS THE KEY, the positive force
For struggling,
For suffering and enjoying;
Acceptance was peace and freedom
For HAPPINESS.
Her weakness and smallness
Was becoming her awareness
Of inner strength and greatness
For serenity in life,
In the rain and in the sun.
Because sunsets ever call sunrises.
